M/S. Orient abrasives ltd. Is a multidivisional manufacturing company with its head office at new Delhi and manufacturing division at porbandar (gujarat) and bhiwadi (rajasthan) and regional offices at bangalore, mumbai, calcutta, ludhiana & bhadravati with service groups in bokaro, bhilai, rourkela, durgapur and chennai. In a relatively short period the company has developed into one of the reliable manufacturers of fused alumina abrasive grains and refractory raw material (porbandar works), sophisticated refractories and grinding wheels (bhiwadi works) with an annual turnover of rs.1600 million in 2003-2004.
Abrasive grains division at porbandar established in 1974 in technical collaboration with karborundum, benatky (czechoslovakia) is today the largest producer of synthetic high alumina materials and castable refractories in India. It has its mines of raw bauxite, which is the basic raw material for its products.
Porbandar works is manufacturing about 1200mt of castables per month for steel, cement and non-ferrous industries.

In sponge iron segment, we entered recently & got orders from M/S. Global hi-tech industries ltd for their 350 tpd kiln. We have completed total lining job of M/S. Nilkanth concast pvt. Ltd & M/S rashmi sponge iron pvt. Ltd. Raipur on turnkey basis. Both kilns are under operation now.

In the cement segment we supply to all major cement plants of gujarat and rajasthan regularly like narmada cement, lakshmi cement, sidhee cement, binani cement, shree digvijay cement, shree cement, ultratech cement, saurastra cement, tata chemicals etc.

Major customers from steel segment include tisco, bhilai steel plant, rourkela steel plant, bokaro steel plant, essar steel, nalva sponge iron etc, in non-ferrous segment, we supply to birla copper, hindustan zinc limited, sterlite industries, gujarat borosil etc. OEM Service:
